 Friday, September 4th Football Kick-Off Time Changes  

Due to forecasted heat index conditions on Friday, September 4th, the School District of Oconee County is adjusting the kickoff times for tonight’s varsity football games at Seneca High School and West-Oak High School. 

For the safety and well-being of student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans, both football games will now kick off at 8:00 p.m., rather than the originally scheduled 7:30 p.m. The additional 30 minutes will allow temperatures and heat index conditions to improve before the games begin. 

The district appreciates the cooperation and understanding of our school communities as we prioritize the safety of our students and spectators.
